Dog Friendly Fort Lauderdale

When you think of places to visit with your dog, the usual probably comes to mind – the dog park, a local pet boutique, or one of the many dog friendly beaches in Fort Lauderdale. Sure, there are also dog daycares in Ft. Lauderdale that provide your dog with toys, friends, agility equipment, pools, loving, experienced staff (okay, we’ll stop bragging now). But maybe you’re looking for some adventures to have with your dog right at your side – maybe a new restaurant or a challenging hiking trail? You can find all of these right here in Fort Lauderdale!

It’s Friday and the weekend is here! After you’ve picked him up from his favorite dog daycare in Fort Lauderdale, you want to grab a bite to eat with your dog as your date. Your favorite restaurant doesn’t allow pets? No problem! There are 2 great restaurants that do!

Coconuts – Located on Seabreeze Blvd, you can enjoy seafood, comfort foods, cocktails, breakfast and brunch with great service on their beautiful deck while you watch the boats and yachts stream by. All with your dog at your side!

Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill – We’re sure you’ll love this gem situated on 17th Street with both indoor and outdoor dining and a waterfront patio bar. Happy hour from 4pm to 8pm makes from a great ending to a day – sip a cool drink, watch the boats, and talk about your day with your furry date.

Wanna do some shopping after you eat? Furry Paws just opened our brand new pet boutique on Las Olas Blvd! Come check out our selection of food, toys, treats and more!

Being active with your dog is one of the best ways to create a stronger bond between the two of you. We love the dog parks and dog daycares in Ft. Lauderdale, but when you want some one-on-one time with your pup, check out some of these outdoor activities right here in Ft. Lauderdale!
