Hugh Taylor Birch State Park is located right across the street from Ft. Lauderdale Beach to catapult you into nature with trails winding through ficus and gardens of exotic plants! You can connect to the beach via crossovers and enjoy any one of the many picnic areas with your pup!
Barrier Island Nature Trail at John U. Lloyd State Park is a half-mile loop. This is an easier hike and allows you to stay in the shade of the trees. Explore the different plant species and take a break from the hot sun!
