We’ve had questions over the years from many pet parents asking if we accept specific dog breeds at our Ft. Lauderdale pet resorts. Many breeds have been discriminated against over the years – from German Shepherds, Rottweilers and, now, Pit Bull Terriers – but Furry Paws FTL will always be a place that accepts each and every dog, no matter their breed.
Many facilities, and even those pet resorts in Ft. Lauderdale, will not accept dogs of certain breeds because of perceived behavior problems associated with the breed. Furry Paws has implemented a different procedure when it comes to accepting dogs for our daycare and boarding services. Each dog must attend a trial day of daycare at our pet resort in Ft. Lauderdale to ensure your dog is comfortable at the facility and will enjoy his time with us. We also screen to ensure there are not any aggressive behaviors toward staff or other dogs. This trial day allows you and your dog to become familiar with the other dogs and our friendly, professionally trained staff.
We are firm believers that there are no bad dogs – just bad owners. Each and every dog is treated as an individual and will never be discriminated against or treated differently because of their breed. Furry Paws is a Ft. Lauderdale pet resort that is made for, and run by, the dogs. Every feature at our facility is made with the dogs in mind to create an environment unlike any other. A stress-free place to play, have fun, cuddle, learn, swim, romp, socialize, relax, and, most importantly of all, to be safe and happy.
We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns to ensure you have complete peace of mind! When your dog comes to his preferred Ft. Lauderdale pet resort, we want to make his experience the best every single time. Give us a call or contact us today to learn more about our doggy daycare or dog boarding in Ft. Lauderdale!
